Make a Ring Silversmithing Workshop in New York { OCTOBER }

Purchase this product to schedule a private/semi private silversmithing class in JUNE 2023.

Once you have ordered, I will email you to schedule your class. Being that this is a booking many months in advance of June, please allow me a few weeks to email you to schedule. We will have a date locked in within a month of your class.  I am pretty flexible and can work with you early in the morning or late at night, weekdays or weekends as long as I don’t have a market on the weekend . There are no specific time slots for the class at this time. Class times are custom tailored to our schedules.

In this 4-5 hour class we will cover basic silversmithing techniques including annealing, sawing, soldering, polishing, and bezel setting a stone. You will leave the class with one completed ring of your own creation. Choose from my stone selection or bring your own.

This class is on offer as a 1 on 1, 1 on 2 or 1 on 3.  A 1 on 1 may be completed in 3 hours, but  keep your schedule free for 4 just in case.

A class with 2 or 3 students will definitely use the entire 4 hours, and seems to push into the 5 hour time frame depending on the pace of the students .

You can do a:

Private;  1 on 1 for $350.

Semi private;  1 on 2 for $320 per student

Semi Private; 1 on 3 for $300 per student

At this time I am still living in Puerto Rico during the winter. I will return to NY in early May when class scheduling can resume. I will host only 3 sessions per month. Scheduling will be made on a first come first serve basis, so the earlier you place your payment to reserve your seat, the earlier I can schedule your class.

Please email me at sweetpeas.and.gypsies@gmail.com if you’d like to discuss scheduling ahead of purchase. However, your class will not be officially reserved until a payment has been processed.

***Things to Consider***

If you bring your own stone, you. must show me your stone prior to the class to be sure it is the correct stone for the setting. We are using flat back cabochons. Do not bring an opal. They are too delicate for beginners and we don’t want to break your stone.

Not all of my collection of stones will be available but a nice selection will be on offer, we can discuss this ahead of time if you like.

Bringing your own stone versus using mine does not affect the price of the class.

We will be working in fine and sterling silver, no gold. All materials and tools will be provided for you.

If you would like to add silver embellishments to the setting, this will add another hour to the class and an additional $50. I’ll offer this at the beginning of the class for you to decide .

If you choose to do a semi private, you must bring your own friend(s). These are not public sessions for me to group students together.

This class is taking place a my studio KISMET in Rockaway Beach , NY.

If for some reason you need to cancel your class, you will be refunded all but a $50 cancellation fee.

Cancellations within 48 hours of the class forfeit the entire class fee.

However, if you need to reschedule your class, please reach out to reschedule before 48 hours to the class time.
